    hey i know there is a way to divide the number of teath to find out the gear ratio..anyone know it off hand? i got to find out what rear gear is in my toy

    10 tooth pinion---41 tooth ring------41 divided by 10 = 4.10 that's your ratio, and so on.

      Or you can turn the tires one revolution and count how many time that the pinion turns. IE: on turn of the tire and a little more then 4 tuns can equal ~ a 4.10 ratio. Hope this helps some to. That is if you do not wanto open the case up.

        if it's the stock axle, look for the tags as well.
