  • January Meeting Minutes

Our 2012 President, Scott Armstrong, opened the meeting by welcoming everyone to the new year. We had a great turnout with 40+ people in attendance!!! It was a great way to start the new year off!!

Guests: Patrick Yordy; Dan Davidson (now a paid member); Rod Hornsby; Jason Clark; Mike Guiniguidno (now a paid member); Matt Waldorf (now a paid member)

    Treasurer report: We have money

    General Club:
Annual dues are up for renewing members - $30 to be paid by March meeting; at April meeting there will be no renewals, only new member dues of $50

We are asking that everyone wear a name badge at the meetings so we can all get faces to go with names. Up to you if you want to include forum screen name on it as well.

Club Tshirt design – Had 4 new designs in addition to the existing design. Vote determined a winner drawn by Tim Taylor. We will provide to our Tshirt vendor to ensure it can be rendered on a shirt. Feedback given at Feb meeting to allow renewing members to order a shirt with a new design on it. If it cannot be rendered without losing detail; we will remain with our existing design

CORE Calendars will be available late this week. Cost is $15 each. If you ordered one, Lisa will bring to the February meeting; or make arrangements separately to pick up.

CORE Sweatshirt order is here. See Lisa to pick up your order if you already placed one or to place an order.

Newsletters – CORE will be doing 3 newsletters in 2012 to highlight upcoming events. These will be mailed to your home, as the one the end of 2011 was. To be sure you receive yours, make sure you have a current address listed.

Introduced our 2012 officers so everyone has a face to go with a name.

    Website:
Members Rigs page – We will be updating the Members Rigs page. If your information on your profile isn’t updated, we don’t know what to list. Be sure its updated, if you don’t have a forum account; get the info to Lisa.
Club Info page – We will be updating the Club Info page to more accurately reflect the club mission/direction.

    4x4s For A Cause/Benefit:
We will again hold our annual 4x4s For A Cause benefit in support of One Way Farm Childrens Home in Fairfield, Ohio. Date has been set for Saturday August 11th. The event times are changing this year to 11a to 3pm (from previous years of 10-4). The flyer for sponsors will be available soon for everyone to begin gathering donations/interest in the event. Any questions, let Lisa know.

The website for the benefit will be updated within the next couple months to reflect more current information. www.4x4sforacause.org
