Last I heard he was planning on Rich's, but not Rush, but his plans are always subject to change...

There's a good chance I'll show up earlier than others. I'd like to spend some more time opening up the quarter pipe area.

I may make it one day of the weekend to see the new trailwork. I'll be driving the semi stock rig so I will mostly watch.

Quarter Pipe is definitely getting better and expanding at the same time. The climb to the far left of the tree was more difficult the last time we were there. Now your able to climb up on the right side of the big tree as well. We also accessed the area into the ravine below that I had to winch out of. With more time, erosion, clearing, this has the potential to be a nice play area with something for everyone. I mainly want to double check that what we cleared before hasn't been blocked by anything and to see if access to the right side (looking up from the bottom) can be expanded.

I'll also bring with me the stuff needed to clear at the end of hardcore. Near the exit there's a ravine climb on the left and the exit back down was blocked last time. Watching everyone trying to exit hardcore when it's wet is fun!

I can't recall the name of the trail. It's the one that has the tree dead smack in the middle that forces you to go left by climbing the rock and sliding back down into the tree or you go right by using the tree as a lean on point to keep from rolling. Maybe that's five guys? Either way, it appears that the tree is getting weak and potentially dangerous to be around. Word is, if you hit it or lean on it significantly, it moves and sways with hints that it won't be standing for much longer.

I'm also hoping throughout the time spent there that we take a serious look for the next potential trail/climb/obstacle, then taking notes on what is needed to make it happen so the next trail clearing scheduled has a plan of action. We don't need to spend hours looking for stuff. All we need is someone to speak up and a short discussion to see if it's feasible.

I have to work Saturday, so I could not be out there until around 5 Saturday evening. If people want to stay until Monday or Tuesday, I will come out.

I'm planning on all day Saturday and Sunday, coming home Sunday night.

I'll bring the chainsaw for trailclearing, just point the way, Mark.

There is a ravine up near the playground that i think has some great potential. Im going to go out and try to work on it this weekend, if it turns out to be a good one i will try to get with you guys, or leave a map at the trailhead with it marked in case you want to check it out or run it in any. Few of us locals are planning on being out that weekend also

Sounds good. We like new trails that are a challenge.
