looks like i won't be going down now, wife's god father went into the hospital last night, diagnosed with shingles, and he already is in the final stages of his cancer. they gave him a day or 2 at the most, so i'll probably be doing something else this weekend now. you guys have fun, and someone tear open their rig on can opener for me. make sure you post lots of pics for me to drool over.

and to think, i was really looking forward to crumpling every good panel on the TJ this weekend.

That sucks man ! nothing worse then funerals ... well maybe funerals that make you miss wheeling !

no ****, i've only been to 3 funerals in my life. i hate them, i would rather remember the person they were the last time i saw them, not laying in a box. i went to my great uncles when i was like 6, and to each of my grandpa's, and one of those was just a memorial, grandpa felt the same way as me i think, and didn't want a big funeral. i haven't ever even gone into a viewing before, and i've had a few friends die in the last couple of years.

the wife told me to still go, she's heard me talking about this weekend since this weekend last year, and knows i've been busting ass, and spent a small fortune building the jeep since i got it last may. don't think i can leave her here alone to deal though, she is really close to her uncle, but she knows how much i hate funerals.

i don't know what is going on now, john got sent home today from the hospital for hospice to care for him, so it looks like there is a glimmer of hope yet.

We're still in, leaving Friday whenever. But need to be back to attend a funeral on Sunday afternoon. So we'll probably head back Sat evening. (ironic huh)

We are leaving Trenton at around 7:00 ish Fri. Morning going to meet up with a few at the Mt. Zion rest stop in KY and roll from there . I think I have a buddy from work coming with us , he's going to strap his quad on my trailer . So Coby , you'll have a partner !

I was checking out Pirate and it looks like Pete and Sean will be there as well.

cool, i haven't wheeled with them in a couple of years now. looks like i just might make it for at least friday, and possible part of saturday.

i heard from Sarge tonight at 10 p.m. and he was south of Lexington. So, i'd bet your life he won't be at Zion rest area at 8 a.m. tomorrow.

sorry to all who were going to run with us ... last minute decision to leave . I talked to George before I left and he was still planning on meeting a Mt. Zion.

I talked to George last night so I knew the plans had changed slightly. We're heading out here in a few for Mt Zion. See everyone there..
