Working on the JK
 

For my fist post...thought id put up some pics of my JK. Im Putting in the OR Fab Sport Cage today so i'll post pics as i go along. It's going to be a great day to play with the Jeep. Everybody going out today be safe and don't break your rigs..... that bad

Pics coming tomorrow got the cage in but need to do some finish work.

looks good .. how would you rate the install? looks like just hand tools... you have to do any cutting?

btw you need some wheels badly.....

the install was pretty easy..just basic hand tools, you do need to cut out some of the dash supports and almost all the front interior panels need to be trimmed. nothing major but it was time consuming, and yes i need new wheels and tires badly....thats the next majorpurchase

they are in awesome shape, look perfect... and i think they are ssr's aren't they?

can you put 15s on a JK, they come stock with 16s

Yeah they are ssr's i have had some many tsl.s i typed it out of habit

nice job! most work on suspensions 1st when safety should be the concern.

i have a small lift 2.5 skyjacker but yes safety was high on my list

get the wheels on it yet? i know you had to be excited to get a set finally ...

Yeah, like my tires don't ya? I guess thats what I get when I can't drive my 40mpg Civic and have to drive the Jeep 60 miles round trip. And yeah I have some TS markings.

lol i figured you had a bigger set that you use for wheelin and he small ones are for daily use. I just put a set of 33 inch super swampers on the jeep. pics should be up tomorrow

Lemme see.....I got the 92 YJ in 2008, so I could get a JK sometime about 2020:rolleyes:

looks good now we will see how it works. leaving at 6-6.30 tomorrow morning from fairfield

unless we should cancel because of the 80% chance of rain tomorrow
