I'm in for at least Saturday. Can't wait to conquer some new trails.

Little PSA to everyone
This is an opportunity to help a park identify and build the kind of trials you want to run. We did this last year and I think everyone that went had a great time. We rode trails for at least as much as we worked to clear stuff. First one up the trail gets to name it!

Last trip we opened up:

1 rock garden (no real work... just drove it a few times on a few different lines)
1 trail that was about .5 miles long. other than getting out to walk it in a few places to identify the lines and pull a downed tree or two out of the way; we stayed in the trucks the whole time
1 nasty trail that required some walking and cutting a few trees out of the way that no one has made it up yet.

We also rode a bunch of existing trails throughout the park.

Hope to see everyone there.

Jim

I am planning to make that weekend and doing some primitive camping. I look forward to meeting several of the club that weekend. I hope ya'll can put up with an old bald guy and his beat up TJ.

jeepmanjeff 01-28-2014 10:10 AM

Is there a place to put my RV and 30' trailer? Don't need hookups just a level piece of ground. Also what time is the train leaving the Cincy area?

twiztedzuki 01-28-2014 10:29 AM

yeah there big parking lot and big field that level

94Dodge Truggy 01-28-2014 01:02 PM

Add me to the list, if you please!

Do we have any idea on a schedule? Leaving early Friday, coming back Sunday evening?

i hope some of us can do Friday morning... i will probably head there Friday sometime early in the day if nobody else is able to leave in the morning...

i'm looking forward to this trip, i had a great time when we went last July despite the 100* temps...

:beers:

WrenchMonkey 01-28-2014 09:31 PM

That was my thought, friday noonish. But I know that may not be the popular option...

It was miserably hot for sure. Hopefully these frigid temps are long gone by then. Count me in no matter what. Even if I have to ride with someone I'm still going. Anytime Friday is cool with me.

mastiff 01-31-2014 12:32 AM

Really looking forward to meeting you guys and show you some of the new stuff we've been working on.

Count me for this Run, However I won't be able to roll out to Rush till Saturday Morning.

wheelin678 02-02-2014 09:59 AM

Count me in

jeepmanjeff 02-02-2014 11:05 AM

I am going to do my best to make this. Need to get some more definite times of departure so I can follow someone.

93 Krawler 02-02-2014 12:10 PM

I like the idea of meeting at the Meijer's on 32 Friday at noon. Last time we went there we took 32 to 73 to 23 to 67 on in to Rush. When we came home we went all the way down AA. Personally I hate AA. People don't care and ride next to you coming up the truck lanes and run you off the road. :at-wits'end: The aggravation level is a lot less on 32 IMO...

What ya'll think?

monkeystrong 02-02-2014 01:44 PM

32 Meijer is fine with me. Pull out at noon Friday.

I think they have a relatively open area for trailers and stuff, but I have not seen it yet so maybe someone else can post up about the camping/ parking set up.
