any shop could do it, just most wont.

i can do 37's on either my little atlas changer, or manually on the old school manual changer. big tire are usually easier to mount, just suck cause of the weight.

Hill Top in Harrison or I can at my Shop in Lawrenceburg. PM if interested.

Yea my buddy is takin off tires to put these on. Mid America tire does it in Middletown pretty cheap too.

jfiscus 12-06-2010 09:06 AM

Don's Tire in Middletown can mount these. Some of the older tire changers can't fit anything larger than a 35" tire due to the arm being on the side.

What do they charge Jason?

no idea, don't have tires that big myself & change the rest of my tires myself. ;)

Bob sumerall off tylersville mounted the 37s no problem.

Has anyone ever heard of using bags of powder that burst open as you drive to ballance your tires??

$33 bucks a tire by the way

Hotwheels 12-07-2010 07:31 PM

I can do them at my work if you want.

HumminNBoatin 12-08-2010 04:47 PM

I have the Equal Balancing bags in my truck. However $33 sounds steep I think I paid $100 at TD performance for them installed (dismount my 37's and remount my 37's.) They (Equal) are good but I would recommend you buy Dyna Beads instead. The Equal can get into the bead and cause slow leaking. Where as Dyna Beads do not.

What ever you choose they will make those tire very smooth on the road.

I used air soft pellets in mine...$12

kb9qdi 12-11-2010 09:05 PM

My 35" KM2's are on 15x8 Steel Soft 8's dynamic balanced with no problems at all. I can run 70+ with my Aussie 4.88/8.8 set up with no vibes at all. I can see using pellets/Equal on larger tires or beadlocks otherwise its a waste to me. I balance **** up to 22-24.5's on Semi's/Motor Homes all day/everyday with no problems.

It really does depend on the tire/rig also. If your trying to get a set of Boggers balanced your wasting your time but a KM2 or MTZ no problem.

FYI....TD Peformance= Tire Discounters. I'm at the Lawrenceburg Store.

nickhuts 12-12-2010 07:13 PM

TD performance said they don't mount tires that big. We got em mounted though. Thanks

fmlewis 12-12-2010 07:37 PM

I have found Myers Tire Supply in Reading sells Equal really cheap I think I paid $10 per bag for the my 35" Super Swampers. They balanced out great.
