Anybody Not Going To Harlan?

Unfortunately, I can't go to Southern Shine, so I was thinking about hitting up some place closer, probably DTOR or Big Rock. Just throwing it out there.

I think the X90 would handle Dirty Turtle!!!! Probably even be able to do the bounty hill challange...:D

I will be at my place riding. 40 min east of big rock off AA. Welcome to check it out

tjrider 05-11-2012 05:01 PM

As bad as I want to do Harlan, doesn't look like funds will permit such adventures. So I'm Down for a closer run. Preferably not haspin

tjrider 05-11-2012 05:05 PM

X2 on Scott's "other" zooky!!!!

Trigger 05-11-2012 05:22 PM

Well, I will be in a RZR, so I'm not doing any major crawling. I don't want to do Haspin either. Big Rock sounds pretty good.

No, we sold it and bought the wife a Grand Cherokee.

Ahh yes! Compromise......

tjrider 05-12-2012 12:48 PM

I would like to check out the dirty turtle

frankensteinxj 05-12-2012 02:06 PM

Im not going. I may be down for a ridin at big rock or deep run.
Im sure ill have all the loose ends tied up on the xj by then

tjrider 05-13-2012 09:43 AM

Did you ever make it to deep run for your shake down Frankensteinxj?

cincygman 05-13-2012 01:08 PM

I might be with you Jeff. these last two weeks have not gone as planned. So a closer ride would work better for me too unless something really good shakes loose work wise......

Yeah we took my dads rig and a couple 4wheelers.

it was a really good time. I posted a few pics in the thread I had about it.

itbrokeagain 05-13-2012 03:40 PM

Not gonna make the Zoe run so I might be in for a big rock run. Possibly camp?

tjrider 05-13-2012 07:14 PM

Yeah Gary, it'll be tough dropping $250 for fuel plus food and entry fees. I really want see these bounty hills

cincygman 05-14-2012 06:55 AM

The Bounty Hills at Dirty Turtle were not that impressive to me. Just some straight up out of the creek runs. Not that my rig could climb them, I've just seen longer steep climbs that's all.

tjrider 05-15-2012 07:44 PM

I vote for the turtle

gyger222 05-16-2012 04:08 PM

So are you guys looking to camp Friday night the 25th then riding on Saturday? If you guys do that I'm in for Saturday. I've been itching to ride but somethings been going on every week.

tjrider 05-16-2012 08:27 PM

That sounds like an excuse to pound beers......:beers:

itbrokeagain 05-20-2012 09:32 AM

How far is the turtle? I am on the east side of cincy so big rock is about an hour. I do want to check out the zip lines though.......
