They are great little trucks. The longbeds are a little much for offroading, but the shortbeds are fine, and a lot more common.
'Course, "common" is a relative term. They're definitely getting harder to find, and a lot of the ones that are left have been used hard.
But like I said, if you search hard enough, there are decent ones out there.

(Oh, and by the way, frames are way overrated! The unibody requires a little more work when mounting up stuff like bumpers, recovery, sliders, etc... But if you do it right, it'll work and hold up just fine!)

Another good thing to remember Commanche and a lot of Xj parts are swappable. Like the grill, headlights etc......
