The purpose of the t-case drops are for the driveshaft angles, not the length. The 1" drop makes a pretty small difference in the length (only a fraction of that 1") and just suspension articulation causes more length differences.
Just as said above, remove it and go for a drive. With the SYE and CV there should be no reasons for it in regards to the angles.
