cool design... i have a friend with a rear engine single seat yota buggy... the thing goes everywhere...

I'd like to built something like either of these but with a little turbo diesel...

twiztedzuki 01-29-2014 03:42 PM

yeah that perdy cool! there enough room in chassis for a sbc if wanted, but i had most parts laying around garage and got sum 38 sx for tars. think i got 7 sticks in this chassis

timido 01-29-2014 04:54 PM

biggin69 01-29-2014 06:27 PM

Looks good.

WrenchMonkey 01-29-2014 07:11 PM

That is pretty wild...

Excuse my ignorance, but doesn't the engine (and the tranny, tcase, and driveshafts) spin the wrong way? Is there a reversing gear somewhere in the drivetrain?

Robert

twiztedzuki 01-29-2014 08:04 PM

flip thirds 180 is my plan. shooting for bout 110" wheelbase and sum 4.7 gears in tcase to help the 22re

Jonesy 01-29-2014 08:10 PM

I'll be watching this. I have pretty much everything but a motor to build something very similar.

Nice job,I have seen this done and seen them in action, nothing seems to stop them. Pretty sure Extreme 4x4 did 1 of these builds a while back also.

twiztedzuki 01-30-2014 08:54 AM

Jordan it has a air research t4 with 8psi wastegate rite now, wanted to giv it sum motovation! Humpy that sounds like a jeeper fo sho! extreme did the low budget pimpin style chassis, which is what i thinkin on building next, using honda motor and transaxle or mayb ecotec, but that b after i sell this
