Looks like a fun time. I'm trying out the TJ next weekend at Haspin. It's getting the 8.8, 4:88's and Aussie's front and rear in it this week.

I can't wait to try out the new goodies

Nice set-up... what size tire???

Mike, thanks for posting them pics. The mud hole from hell looks way better in the pics...
You know like maybe a jeep can cross it...

Pics and vids to come.

33's for now. It will be a tad steep but I do have a 6 speed to help with that. My 33's are going to a good friend in a month or so (when he's wife lets him buy them from me ) then the 35" KM2's will go on with a tad more lift.

You better work on your reading comprehension, or you're never gonna get out of junior high!

Who know I guess the XJ just wasn't meant to go into a hole like that, when I get my clutch put in, we'll see if the YJ can do it.

Long as you've got something solid front and rear to throw a tow strap on, you're more than welcome!

That is exactly the way I was running and even went up a hill or two that Nick (coppertop) bypasses. lol. 491 was great on 31s and open diffs. Except for the one mud pit. lol

Thanks, I've decided I really like it, too.

Tomorrow morning I'ma start on the wheels, I finally decided on a dark metallic grey.

I like the color so much I think I'm gonna do the wheels on the tow rig and trailer to match.

Robert

I think he was pokin' fun, when you went down the creekbed and we all sorta ditched you and went up the next hill instead... Sorry!

I got the rears done this morning. It's a LOT darker than I expected. At first glance it looks like really glossy black, and I'm sure that's how it'll look in pics.

But it catches the light really nice, and kinda looks like the mirrored glass in the side windows.

I've decided I like it a lot.

I'll try to get pics tomorrow, when I do the fronts, but like I say, it'll probably just look black.

Robert

(And a mall crawler? Really? You have seen my rig right?!? )

It's all good...:) I was just joining in on the fun..

Figured that was the hill in question. For the record ,I wheeled back up the creek and climbed the hill. I remember it well because, I just about got sideways sliding down into the creek.

No worries bout the mall crawler.. Till I see ya cruisin' a Macy's .
