I made it. got there a about 1030 am so I missed the other group. Rode up Rattlesnake(bypass) and up Carburator, passed a couple guys with a stock XJ and a another built XJ taking it easy. Carried on towards Townsend Cave down the creek and ran in to some side-by-sides and 4-wheelers. A fella from Mt Sterling broke a rear drive shaft on the hills to the right(not sure what they are called).

Ventured my way on down the creek for about an hour 'til I figured out I didn't know where the hell we where going. It was a nice ride until we ran into a large tree blocking the way, so turned back around. IF anyone can tell me where I was headed let me know.

I only got a couple pics from the top of Carb due to dead battery, didn't look like anyone had went up before us(me & co-pilot). NIce day, just took it easy.

I'm still ready!!!

Pics look good. Hope the weather will be good this weekend too. I'll be out there on friday. Probably getting to sand lick about 10:00 -10:30. Meeting a couple friends out there to ride for just the day.

That comes out at Smith cemetary road. We went to widowmaker first, but I think we still got to carburetor before you.

When I turned around in the creek, that is the way we came out. I was wondering where it goes on down the creek. Came up the bank on the right and damn near slid of the hill. Didn't look like anyone had been up it in a truck for a while.

I seen a group of about 5 JEEPs headed toward Stump Cave, where you with them? Or should I assume you wheel a Ranger.

I have a ranger. If you continue down the creek, you would come out in a guys yard where the creek goes under the blacktop road between smith cemetary and the sinks. There are a few deep holes down through there, and I have heard the guy is a little funny about people driving in his yard.
