I have heard you can ship through Amtrak if both of you don't mind doing a little work. Fairly cheap.
Basically you need to take the tires to the Amtrak station (i.e. - Union Terminal) and they will transport them to his nearest Amtrak station. He would need to go there and pick them up, kind of like a passenger. |
