Had a good time for the two hours I was there today.

We had a good turn out today. I had fun once I got there. Was 2 hours late thanks to the rear axle breaking on my trailer. That was fun to fix on I74.

Would have been nice to match peoples forum names with some faces. Hey Gman, was that you I was talking to after my attempt at Widow Maker? I hope most of you had fun. I took 2 cameras and didn't take a single pic. DOH! Hope there is a lot of pics.

Yes that was me. Next time out, we will have Lisa make name tags for everyone. Isn't she some sort of secretary?

Yep, name tags for sure. With name and forum handle on them. I'm not too hard to spot out of the crowd. I'm always the only full size Chevy in the bunch. It was good to meet you.

Glad to hear your rig stayed together Sarge. The weather around here is definetly stupid. Woke up to snow on the ground.

Yesterday you were looking more like Rudolph with that red nose.

It did get seriously colder as the day went. You really need to hook the heat up in the old Sami Scott. :p Maybe you should take it to Armstrong Automotive and get them to fix it.

I was just thankful the windshield, doors and top stayed on for the run instead of being left safely on the trailer. ;) Actually wasn't too bad in the valley out of the wind. It was a good time. Didn't get many pics....

this was the only shot I managed to get : phone was dead so I left it in the truck turned off. Turned it on and snapped one pic of the mud thanks to a very nasty hole at the bottom of Widow Maker ...... Have I mentioned lately .... I hate mud !!!!

looks like you guys had a good time. Was it really as dry as it looked in some of the picture? Wish I could have joined you. My tow rig got stuck in a friends yard. By the time I got it unstuck and ready to tow again it was too late to make it out and meet up with the group.

everything had that 2-3" coating of slime on it which made for some interesting slidding around as seen in one of the pics. trails that were normally a walk in the park were more skinny pedal and luck but all in all i say it was a good day and a great turn out for january 1

It was good getting back in the woods with everyone , had a ball and didn't blow a motor

, kind of funny ..... 60 degrees at 10:30 am in the parking lot ........ cold and snow flurries at 6:30 pulling into the drive way .... only in the Ohio Valley ...... Oh ! and I still have mud in my eye

Awesome time for me and my future father in law. He'd never been wheeling before and had a constant smile on his face. He took a bunch of pictures, so I'll post them up as soon as I get them from him.

See, us Dayton Jeep guys aren't too bad, now are we?!?
