Here is the easiest way to pull the audio off a CD.

Put your CD into the computer, (if your using windows) a prompt screen will come up asking you what you want to do with the CD. There should be an option to "Rip CD to harddrive" that will take the audio from the CD to the harddrive.

Be careful where you have the computer save the file because you will now have to go to your editing software and import that audio file.

If this does not work you can always just play the audio CD and record it with a video camera. Then upload that file to your editing software and erase the video but keep the audio.
