Any ideas on why it is overheating? Clutch fan or electric? Mud in radiator fins

It has a clutch and electric fan. When it started overheating I replaced the water pump and thermo but, still randomly overheats. Jfiscus said maybe air pocket in head to remove temp sensor to bleed air out. Not tried yet. Might pull radiator to inspect.

Scott,

I'll leave Middletown about 0800 Sunday morning. I assume you will post up early that morning if you are advised of conditions that cause you not to go. I will PM you for a cell phone number incase I have trouble finding the park.

I too, will be watching the temp gauge. But it is a shake down ride..

John

Pulled radiator looked ok, I found a small crack in my reservoir. My reservoir is pressurized from factory with no radiator cap. I will try to repair. New one is $40.00

Last I heard we were on. Planning to meet at the main entrance around 10am. I see the forecast is 70% rain now. Truggy said he would call a friend in the morning, and if it's raining would post up if he wasn't going. Figure we'll check before we pull out here around 8ish (I have to get Starbucks on the way ;)). Hope to see you tomorrow!
